We were asked to do a presentation to one of our advisor’s classes. We made a short presentation detailing where each of us are from along with a bit about the University of Strathclyde. We then each shared some of our interests outside of our studies. Martin and Jason talked about their interest in climbing, Charlie talked about playing rugby, Zain basketball and Matthew tennis.
We also showed them the outline for our project and talked a bit about how we are going to take it to completion while we are here. The presentation ended with an informal chat with the Spanish students. They recommended various places for us to visit while we are here, and Martin found a friend to go surfing with.
The point of the presentation was to help the Spanish students improve their English and also to allow us to meet some local students and maybe make some new friends.
